Graticule MapACE Software Library for Windows CE 5.0 and Mobile 5

MapAce.DLL software for Windows CE4.2/CE5.0 and Mobile 5 lets developers create custom mapping applications using vector and raster digital topographic, thematic or statistical map data, digital aerial photographs or digital satellite images. It contains a suite of functions for reading vector and raster map data in different formats,for scrolling or panning over a map, for change of scale or zooming into a map, for querying a point location or vector object, creating multiple, semi-transparent, map overlay layers, adding map objects, reading data from a satellite GPS receiver in NMEA format, plotting points on a map and tracking a path. Functions are including for adding, editing or removing data from map overlays. Maps can be drawn in black and white or colour. The MapAce.DLL software is typically used in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or later using emulator software for the target mobile device. This lets you create attractive applications which combine sets of map, aerial photographs, satellite remote sensing images and satellite GPS data with data input by a user.
