About Graticule

Graticule is an independent software engineering company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

Our goal is to help customers derive "Information from Location" for use in business, commerce, industry and research. To this end, we design, develop and distribute software component libraries and applications. These applications are specifically tailored to the requirements of our customers and fill a range of essential roles, from route finding to drive-time calculations and from postcode analysis to reverse geocoding.

We continually strive to meet new standards and changing needs of our customers, aiming to maintain, extend and support all our applications. Our success in these aims has been reflected by our growing global reputation and participation in several E.U. Research Technology Development Framework projects over the last 15 years.

To ensure we employ state-of-the-art techniques and tools in the creation of innovative applications, we liaise with universities, businesses, government departments and industry. These associations and our clients' needs have given us cause to create custom mapping applications for regions as disparate as Greater London and Singapore.

Our software component libraries have proven so versatile that they are currently being employed in systems as diffuse as in-car navigation, websites and computer games.

In addition to our mapping applications, we have also designed decision-support, database management and telecommunication systems, among many others. We also licence software components and applications for a variety of mapping purposes, network analysis and reverse geocoding for location-based services.

It is our aim to offer customers a high quality service and technical support for software products operating on systems as diverse as Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista, Microsoft Windows CE/Pocket PC/ Windows Mobile and Java.
