The Aim

The deployment stage is part three of the Graticule software development process. Here our developers take the completed software and package it up for you to use.

User Manuals

Graticule will always include a user manual with any software created, from a simple two page guide to a highly detailed book. Writen in plain English, and aimed at the non-technical user, the manuals will include all of the necessary information about installing and using the software as well as providing a troubleshooting guide if you run into any trouble.

The user manuals are usually provided in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format but can be supplied in other formats if required. They are suitable for printing out.

Installer Files

Most software will be packaged in an executable installation file, requiring you to follow a basic wizard to install the complete software. Pocket PC and software for non-Windows systems will be provided with suitable installation files.

Providing the Software

Depending on your requirements and the size of the software, the installation file can be made available for download from the Graticule server. We can also provide the file on a CD or DVD.

Ongoing Support

The deployment process is complete when you have the software.

Graticule's developed software comes as standard with a free 60 day technical support contract allowing plenty of time for you to get the software up and running. We can also provide ongoing technical support contracts on an annual basis.

Many customers come back to us asking for further developments to add new functionality, support for new operating systems or to expand the data coverage. As we always retain the original code for the software we can carry out a new development or alteration without having to start from scratch.
